Chelsea New Boss Maurizio Sarri Say’s His Players Must Improve Quickly

Chelsea manager Maurizio Sarri insist that his players “have to improve very quickly” on the basis of their performance after Monday’s friendly against Perth Glory.
Chelsea claimed a 1-0 victory at the Optus Stadium in their first pre-season outing thanks to an early strike from Pedro.
Maurizio Sarri felt that Chelsea lost their way as the match went on, however, and the former Napoli boss was seemingly concerned by the lack of cohesion in the side for his maiden match in charge.
“We were good in the first half, not so much in the second half,” he told reporters Down Under. “We lost a lot between the defenders and the midfielders. We have to improve very quickly. The result is not a mirror of the game but it is more important at this moment for the performance.”
